On October 23, 2025, IWMF hosted a monumental virtual event, bringing together over 300 support group and Global Partner members from around the world. The session featured a comprehensive Q&A with Dr. Jorge Castillo of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the world's leading experts in WM. Following the main presentation, participants transitioned into 26 virtual breakout groups. These groups offered a unique support group setting where members could discuss the medical takeaways from Dr. Castillo’s session, share their personal experiences, and offer mutual community support. The event successfully merged expert medical insight with essential peer-to-peer connection.
