In February 2016, Maria joined the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Bing Center for Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia. Her Bachelor of Science in Biology was received from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2014.

Maria is one of our senior research technicians here at the Bing Center for WM. Aiding in both administrative and wet lab duties, Maria also has an independent projects in the works. Prior to her working with the Bing Center, she volunteered in the Microbiology lab on the University of Massachusetts’ campus, assisting in research pertaining to Sinohizobiummeliloti.

Interests include nutrition, mental health, miniatures, arts and crafts.

Maria is currently assisting in the Bing Center research lab processing samples for our serum and gDNA banks.
